Movies and Depression
Depression is caused by stress and anxiety in our day to day life. There are lots of movies that have been released on the reality of the Depression, and some of these are Sylvia, The Bell Jar, Helen and Prozac Nation. However, most of these movies have not been successful at the box-office so far, with very good exceptions of course. Also, the directors of such movies do not investigate into this situation intensively, as to why these were not able to become a hit.
As per our opinion, all these films depicted the impact of dejection and the reasons of ill-effects in the lives of people. But people want inner joy, mental peace and wish to come out of adverse circumstances. So it is very necessary to depict humor rather than dejection in the movies as it is a way to lead a healthy and a happy life.
